It's a horrific commentary that "Welcome To Sarajevo" has to start off explaining in simplistic terms about what has been happening there in the 90s, because so many don't know or seem to care.  Thankfully, those viewers lucky enough to catch this passionate, well constructed film,  will probably start taking a real interest.   Woody Harrelson is surprisingly effective in this based-on-fact tale about reporters in Sarajevo trying to save an orphaned child.  The transfer is a little grainy at times, but, there's no doubt this is an intended effect to lend realism ala "documentary" style to the film.  While there have been several notable films dealing with journalists in war-torn nations, ("Under Fire" is just one)none have the continuous impact revealed here.  The Dolby surround sound isn't always active, used mostly for gunshot effects etc, but its effects are well conceived.
