Kobe Tai looks terrific in this look at the behind-the-scenes world of modeling.   While she's done hotter films available through VIVID, "Filters" has its moments, and she gives every one of her scenes the appearance of utmost passion.   Still, her supporting cast isn't as strong as usual.  She's really the only one worth watching, and she's still not on camera enough for our taste.(We're big fans!)  

The dvd transfer is fine.  While the contrast is inconsistent in a few scenes, the fleshtones are in good shape throughout and color values are better than average.   The sound quality appears professional.

"Generation X" borrows from "Melrose Place" and "Real World" with an "X" rated perspective.  All of the main characters live in the same apartment building, and Director Paul Norman takes a pseudo/documentary look at how the actress, model, and writer spend their non-struggling hours.  This dvd is "hot"! Roxanne Hall, Rebecca Bardoux, and Kia look terrific here, and they're assisted by a great looking transfer.  There's no grain  and color values are strong.  The sound quality is standard.  While not exceptional, it's never problematic and has a wide range of tone.

Highly Recommended for the adult dvd collector!  The story, acting, sex, and technical credits combine well in creating a highly enjoyable adult film.  The plot is set around a Chinese Restaurant wherein the owner mistakenly believes he's the father of  four beautiful girls working there.  Asian Carrera is at her usual best, and looks terrific.  While Tricia Yen and Kitty Yung are fine, one wishes stars like Minka and Kobe Tai were amongst the cast for even bigger laughs and eroticism. 

The quality of the transfer is quite good, with excellent fleshtones and contrast, and minimal grain.  The stereo sound offers little separation, but sounds clear.

Ginger Lynn, Amber Lynn, and Tamara Longley help make "Ginger on the Rocks" worthwhile, but it appears almost "dated".  It's not as technically impressive as many "low budget" adult films, and this also lends to inconsistent transfer quality.  This being said, the girls,(especially Ginger Lynn)  create more than enough hot scenes to compensate for the average image quality.  The sound quality, while not problematic is just average.

Brooke Ashley looks incredible in "A Geisha's Secrets".  The plot, an Asian American determined to learn the ways of the Geisha finds instruction from a madam.   Needless to say, the instruction provides ample display of erotic and stimulating examples in the ways of the lotus.  The story is actually entertaining, never dragging for a minute. All of the girls appear classy in this production and the technical quality is above average.  The transfer looks fine, with credit going to the superior source material.  The fleshtones are consistent and contrast is fine.  The stereo sound is above average in quality without separation effects.

We never got tired of Ashlyn Gere in "Masseuse 2" and thankfully, there's pleny of Ashlyn throughout the film.  Even better, it's also got Asia Carrera!!!    Director Paul Thomas again proves his artistry at being able to provide a fine visual style to an adult film that intentionally pushes the envelope of what's considered "XXX"!!!  A must for any adult dvd collection! 

The transfer is exceptional!  Colors, contrast and fleshtones are perfect and there's no grain anywhere!!!  The stereo sound is fine, though uneventful.
