While some of the titles that have been released as “SUPERBIT” titles from COLUMBIA TRISTAR, are questionable, “MEN IN BLACK,” is a perfect selection!

Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones star in this terrific, off-the-wall science fiction comedy about a secret government organization designed to protect the world and universe from villainous aliens.  There are many great things in the script, but perhaps the best relates to the idea that this organization is well aware of various alien types entering the planet, and typically has little concern. After all, they all have to go through an alien customs office, and this is where the improvements of the “SUPERBIT” transfer first come into play. The incredible special effects have never looked this impressive before.  The image is stunning! Colors are rich and vibrant in every instance. Contrast is flawless! Fleshtones are perfectly natural(or alien)throughout!

While both the Dolby Digital and DTS mixes are excellent, the DTS 5.1 is noticeably sharper.  There’s better bass control and clarity in regards to the more subtle effects.  There is a multitude of LFE effects as well, so subwoofers will get a real workout!
