Fans of "CHICKEN RUN" and "WALLACE AND GROMIT", will certainly love the "CREATURE COMFORTS: SEASON 2".  The first season, already released was great fun, but "SEASON 2" is even more consistently entertaining.  There are 12 episodes, with each individual episode running about 9 minutes, spread out on disc 1 of this 2 disc set. Not a frame of still motion effects, is wasted on the mundane. There's humor here for child and adult alike! 

The series has been presented in its correct 1.78:1 aspect ratio with 16:9 enhancement.  Colors are solid and the image offers exceptional detail throughout.  There is some minor grain and minor edge enhancement, but overall, this is a great looking presentation!

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo mix isn't aggressive, but the separation effects are quite pleasing.  Dialogue for Americans may be a little difficult at times due to the accents, so the optional subtitles come in handy. 

There are plenty of extras here, including a lengthy, in-depth documentary exploring the production at the actual studio.  The 2nd disc offers a lengthy, 24 minute "Christmas episode".  It's terrific!!!
