SRP $24.95 1.85:1(16:9) DOLBY DIGITAL 5.1 PARAMOUNT

"BEVERLY HILLS COP 3" is so bad, it makes "BEVERLY HILLS COP 2" look great!  There's absolutely no spark of creativity anywhere in this film! It's really hard to believe a talented screenwriter like Steven E. De Souza had anything to do with this script.  After an opening sequence in which Murphy's cop-friend is needlessly killed, the rest of the story focuses on Foley's need for revenge, and an even more ridiculous park setting wherein we get to see Landis' attempt at staging action scenes amongst amusement rides! It doesn't work! Everyone, especially the beautiful Theresa Randle, is wasted here!

PARAMOUNT has retained the film's original 1.85:1 aspect ratio with 16:9 enhancement.  The colors are more solid and vibrant on this transfer than on any of the previous in the series.  Fleshtones are natural throughout and contrast is flawless. A great looking image for a bad film!

The Dolby Digital 5.1 mix for this film is very aggressive, and while it doesn't make up for the film's content, it does provide some entertaining surround effects and plenty of LFE moments for those few out there that actually "like" the film!

A featurette, "BEVERLY HILLS COP 3:TRIPLE AXEL"  offers various interviews with cast and crew from different periods of time, and is basically promotional and non-entertaining in nature. The theatrical trailer is also included in 1.85:1 with 16:9 enhancement and 2.0.
